Of art and wealth

My friend Tanisha and I were talking this afternoon about wealth, and how people perceive it, and us. On the surface Tanisha and I could not be more different, she a high powered lawyer and I the wandering Gypsy, owning nothing of value. These people cannot understand how we became friends. One of my other friends summed it up quiet well by how taken in he was with the car she drives. Underneath all that I believe that perhaps I have “things” that are far more valuable than a stupid AMG Merc and so does she. My most valuable thing is that I have such great friends, and Tanisha has a talent much more impressive than being a successful lawyer. She has the ability to create artwork from her photographs and then explain what she sees in poetry. Here is Tanisha’s Artistic Labyrinth, do yourself a favour and have a look/read. Please take note to read Dead Man Standing. You may then see why we are friends.
